Description:

A TEKsystems client is looking for a Systems Engineer with a diverse back ground in Window/Unix systems, networking, end user support and some database skills. This position will be supporting the LIS (Laboratory Information Systems) Environment. They are starting the process of migrating for SOF to Epic Beaker. With SOF they currently maintain their own Infrastructure, Servers, Routers, Switches, Databases and End User Support. This is a generalist type role. They will support all of these systems, but not all of the time. As things need attention, they focus will there. The successful person will come from an environment where they wore multiple hats as well. *This is a remote position*

They have a couple unix servers, window servers, cisco networking gear wired and wireless.

They have SQL Databases, that require some report writing from time to time.

They also connect with other healthcare systems through HL7.
