Description:
The Cyber Security program manager plans, execute, manages, and completes cyber programs (including related projects) according to business timelines and budgets. These programs are strategic and represent a significant financial investment. This leader is empowered with acquiring resources and managing the efforts of team members and third-party contractors and consultants to deliver programs according to plan.
The Cyber Security program manager will work with the security and privacy assurance leadership team to define the overall program objectives, scope, goals, and deliverables and ensure quality control throughout the program life cycle. This leader must be seasoned in managing complex, impactful enterprise initiatives and have a sophisticated approach to interacting with our enterprise stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Define program scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Liaise with project stakeholders and plan program milestones and deliverables.
• Conduct project postmortems and identify successful and unsuccessful program elements as part of a continuous improvement initiative.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve program goals.
• Draft budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• Operational oversight: direct and manage program development from beginning to end.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts and manage dependencies and critical paths.
• When required, ensure quality, sustainability, and the proper architectural fit is delivered with the finished product (solution/capability).
Qualifications
• Experience with information security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NIST 800-171)
• Proficient knowledge of information security and enterprise security programs
• Experience working with privacy offices and global privacy programs (GDPR, SHREMS)
• Strong skills in IT and various technical cybersecurity domains
• At least five years of experience managing across cybersecurity initiatives.
• Senior program management experience - must be able to manage complex situations, timelines, and findings and manage milestones.
• Issues management: can ask questions, dig deep, and problem-solve to find solutions.
• Demonstrates success across programs and projects
• Experience with cross-functional, high-complexity projects is ideal
• A track record of customer success with non-IT business stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated work experience.
• Ten years of experience in the workforce.
