PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Global Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is responsible for creating and implementing strategies that promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture. The Global VP of DEI will play a critical role in shaping our organizational policies, supporting cultural transformation, and ensuring that DEI principles are integrated into every aspect of our business impacting our more than 120,000 employees across over 4,000 locations worldwide.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive and innovative DEI strategy that aligns with the company's mission, values, and business objectives.
• Serve as a key advisor to the Management Board and Executive Committee on DEI matters, providing insights and recommendations to foster an inclusive culture.
Policy and Program Development:
• Design and implement global policies, programs, and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure recruitment, retention, and development practices are equitable and inclusive.
Employee Engagement and Culture:
• Lead initiatives to educate and engage employees on DEI topics, including training, workshops, and internal communications.
• Support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and other platforms that promote a sense of belonging and community.
Data and Reporting:
• Establish metrics and benchmarks to uncover insights and measure the effectiveness of DEI initiatives and track progress over time.
• Provide regular reports to the Management Board and Executive Committee on DEI progress, challenges, and opportunities.
External Partnerships and Advocacy:
• Represent the company at external events and forums related to DEI, building partnerships with relevant organizations and stakeholders.
• Stay informed on DEI trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains at the forefront of DEI efforts.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Legal, Marketing, and Operations, to embed DEI into all business processes and decision-making.
• Foster open and transparent communication channels to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement in DEI efforts.
• Amplify our DEI message internally and externally, promote initiatives and communicate progress against objectives.

• Assist with various projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION:
• May be responsible for the direct supervision of various levels of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team in a both a centralized, and matrix managed environment.
EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in a related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in DEI, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in large, global organizations with distributed workforce strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful DEI strategies and programs.
• Strong understanding of DEI concepts, including cultural competence, unconscious bias, and equity frameworks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to analyze complex data and metrics to drive decision-making and strategy development.
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment.
