Job Title: Credit Analyst

Location: Lunenburg, MA

Position Summary:

As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients, analyzing financial data, and preparing risk assessments to support lending and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess credit risk.
• Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor existing credit exposures and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with sales, underwriting, and risk management teams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes.
• Assist in developing and refining credit policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and credit risk metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with credit scoring systems or financial software is a plus.
