Laboratory Analyst- Will be working in a full-service cGMP compliant laboratory specializing in analytical testing of a range of drug delivery systems from early stage to commercialization. This person will start in their characterization lab and transition into more of their analytical chemistry lab performing HPLC. Overall Responsibilities: Performs research activities and other tasks as necessary in a laboratory environment. Records observations and measurements and reports results. Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining cleanrooms and equipment. Assists with receipt and inspection of raw materials, and ordering and stocking of materials and equipment. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 7 years (or advanced degree) of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

HPLC is the number one used analytical testing done at NB and its what every candidate needs to be comfortable with. 5 years’ experience with HPLC/Empower, method developments, and validations Key Tasks and Responsibilities: • Participate in laboratory activities • Order lab and office supplies • Conduct general housekeeping duties • Maintain all lab equipment per SOPs • Receive and ship samples, chemicals, packages, and documents per SOPs • Keep lab clean and organized • Maintain clean and organized sample storage room • Document all tests performed according to cGMPs and GDPs • Develop personal goals for Management by Objectives (MBOs) with the help of supervisor, work toward those goals throughout the year. • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Word and Excel • Execute protocols and test methods as assigned • Follow cGMP guidelines • Other duties as assigned by supervisor Experience with HPLC/Empower and a variety of analytical techniques , method development and validation as well as FDA guidelines  Familiar with USP and other compendial monographs  SME in one or more laboratory techniques  Ability to lead and direct others  Ability to complete projects within budget and in a timely manner  Ability to work independently and in a team environment, take initiative and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and adhere to reporting deadline schedules  Follow safety rules and regulations to include hazardous waste guidelines  Strong organizational skills  Ability to meet deadlines  Strong oral and written communication skills  Ability to learn new techniques  Critical thinking and ability to communicate concerns to supervisor/project manager  Strict attention to detail  Superior speaking skills  Ability to travel  Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Experience Requirement:  Bachelors or Associate degree in sciences  Minimum Seven (7) year of experience in a laboratory setting or advanced degree
