Responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all team deliverables.
Utilizes various skills to organize all stakeholders upstream and downstream of direct reports to accomplish goals.
Implements TSSC/Lean concepts to improve productivity and quality
Works closely with manufacturing engineering group to improve safety, ergonomics, parts flow.
Maintains continuous accountability of people, equipment, and tools.
Utilizes problem-solving skills, teamwork, and leadership to overcome obstacles.
Demonstrates flexibility, introspection, and resilience in the face of routine challenges.
Conducts regular planning for capacity and resource allocation.
Evaluates work performance by conducting performance reviews. Identify skills and knowledge gaps in team members and then coaches them to close those gaps.
Works collaboratively with Supervisors, Leads, and Managers to increase productivity and ensure quality.
Leads operational, safety, and equipment training for team members.
Communicates updates to stakeholders and other departments as needed.
Manage floor-level day-to-day staff including setting staffing schedules and performance management responsibilities (hiring/firing.)
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
At least two (2) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
At least one (1) year of previous supervisory experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Positive attitude. Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Ability to work overtime, flexible schedules, and weekends as required.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
