We are actively hiring for payroll associate to join our team and grow with our organization here in Baltimore.
Description:
-Scrutinize and troubleshoot pre and post on cycle payroll audits
-Communicate policies and procedures to field personnel on payroll issues
- Audit weekly payroll wages and taxes
-Work closely with our Field Support Group and Operations Support Group partners to ensure that
all tasks are completed
-Coordinate the timely resolution of payroll discrepancy items
-Develop value added procedures for departmental improvements
-Designated Payroll Trainer and liaison
-Support partner for Final Hours Payroll Specialist and Payroll Analyst
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-Must have at least 1 of professional experience as well as Excel skills
- 1 year Customer service exp. can be as an Intern, working as a receptionist, anything in the capacity of working in an office environment
-Must be able to work in basic Excel and Outlook
-Must have clear communication skills and good phone etiquette.
Highly preferred:
Our Skills and Requirement
At least 1 year of in-house payroll or accounting experience preferred
Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and PeopleSoft preferred
Knowledge of payroll accounting and taxes preferred
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team
