The QA Manager role will participate through collaboration as an integral member of the Life Sciences vertical Lines of Business (LOB) to support the company's business and quality goals with specific focus on discovery, testing, and development of QMS Documentation for pharmaceutical, biologic, medical device and combination products.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Medical Device, Lab Services and Clinical Services vertical teams on design, creation and launch of QMS Documentation needed to assure adherence with customer, industry standards, regulations, guidances and corporate directives.
Bachelor's or master's degree in natural/life science discipline, with a master's preferred;
Quality and project management training, with certifications highly desired (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Project Management Professional (PMP)) with practical/applied experience in the Life Sciences market segments;
This position requires a strong understanding and command of the interpersonal communication skills and scientific and regulatory knowledge to work and effect changes and advancements in a matrix organization.
Possesses basic knowledge and understanding of applicable GxPs regulations;
Possesses good communication skills, presentation, verbal and written;
Possesses good organizational and recordkeeping skills;
Technical writing and data analysis ability required;
Must be computer literate, including well developed computer skills in software applications such as Veeva Vault or Master Control and an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LINS);
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions based on factual information and data;
Having worked in a life sciences-based service provider organization is highly desired; and
Good people skills and management experience is essential.
