Aston Carter is looking for candidates in the Rigley, MD area to take on an HR Generalist Position! 1-2 plus years of HR onboarding experience required!
Description:
1. Onboard applicants to include orientation and creating and maintaining new employee files, UKG Ready sign in and .
2. Monitors new hire completion of tasks in onboarding system. Notifies management of upcoming new hires. Supports and helps facilitate new hire orientation. Manages new employee I-9 process by collecting and validating required documentation.
3. Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs, supports and helps facilitate employee training and development opportunities and supports HRBP with employee investigations, retention/exit interviews and communication of company policies
4. Manages on-site document retention programs for all HR documentation. Maintains file integrity.
5. Supports employee benefits through distribution of new employee enrollment reminders, reporting new worker’s compensation claims and creating hard copy files and communication of mandated employee benefits communications, such as the Summary Annual Report and 401(k) plan documents.
6. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required
7. Provides daily coverage for HRBP, as needed for all shifts.
8. Manage leave administration (FMLA, WC, STD, LTD, etc.)
9. Supports human resources special projects, as needed to include coordinating travel arrangements for distribution team to and from corporate events
10. Work with HRBP on employee relations actions and updates in HRIS systems, including promotions, terminations, bonus awards, organizational changes, etc. as requested
11. Mange for all Supply Chain locations
12. Partner with HRBP to conduct employee relations investigations
13. Work with the HRBP on Level UP! Program (roll out, application, working with leaders to select candidates.)
14. Provide data and demographics for all locations using tableau
15. Other duties as assigned.
