Description:

Seeking a Sr Product Engineer with an interest in innovative research and development and a desire to create and transition exciting new technologies to market. This company's diverse set of projects will give you experience across the product development cycle and allow you to shine in a fast-paced environment. The Structures group focuses on several technology areas including strategic application of composite materials, metal additive manufacturing, personal aerial mobility, and novel bearing applications.

• Program management and technical leadership

• Presentation of results to customers (written and oral)

• Supervision and development of junior staff

• Business development through customer relationships and proposal writing

• Recognizing and solving complex problems

• Program level ideation and product development

• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals

• Experience using FEA or Multiphysics analysis software

• Hands-on experimental and fabrication experience

• Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods

• Familiarity with solid modeling, Solidworks preferred

• Technical writing and proposal experience

• Adaptability and desire to learn new technologies

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. Advanced degree is a plus.

• 10+ years of experience working in product development or related fields required

• Experience managing technical teams and directing projects

• Experience with SBIR program is desired

• Experience working with composite materials is highly desired
