Manufacturing Equipment Technician II

The Manufacturing Equipment Technician will assist in maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing fixtures and equipment in the "cleanroom", a sterile/controlled assembly area. This Technician will be responsible for both locating specific equipment/devices and then calibrating/testing equipment to ensure functionality at current quality standards.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
-Primary technical support for production lines, performing a variety of electronic and mechanical duties
-Performs preventive maintenance, calibration and alignment checks; making adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
-Troubleshoots and repairs equipment such as laser welders, UV lights, adhesive dispensers, vacuum chambers, ovens, and custom-designed equipment
-Responsible for ensuring and maintaining proper stock of replacement parts and components
-Ability to work well under pressure and remain flexible to changing schedules and demands
-Provides daily update on work status and/or problems and provides recommendations for improvement or correction.
-Identifies opportunities for new or updated tooling, machines, and/or fixtures to optimize manufacturing processes and uptime
-Both 1st and 2nd shift available (FLEXIBLE ON SHIFT TIMES! For example: 1pm-9pm, 2pm-10pm, 3pm-11pm)
-Pay Rate starts at $21.00 - $27.00 /hour
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Ideal Candidate Will Have :
-Medical Device and/or Cleanroom Experience
-Experience performing preventative maintenance OR calibration tasks
-Experience troubleshooting and/or repairing equipment
-Ability to use tools, such as: UV lights, adhesive dispensers, etc.
-Ability to work independently with minimal/no direct supervision
