Description:

- This Pharmaceutical Company is implementing iLab - iLab is a web application being adopted to manage the process of requesting the use of instruments, equipment, supplies, and technology as well as the process of requesting services or technical expertise.

- Support the end-user desktop including, but not limited to, troubleshooting issues, implementing approved software, and removing older software versions

- Setting-up, maintenance and administration of end user computer devices and related Lab applications including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations

- Troubleshooting of lab instruments\lab computer systems interfaces. Assist in data storage solutions and the tracking of Lab assets

- Take an active role in the Incident Response and Problem Management processes, representing the desktop environment. Provide root cause analysis for problems and measures to mitigate future occurrences for re-occurring issues

- Duties will include troubleshooting and repair of OS's, MS Office Suite products including Outlook email and calendar issues, a variety of 3rd party software applications, hardware issues, laptop parts replacement, imaging, data wiping, asset control, and detailed ticket documentation

- Work with instrument vendors as needed in troubleshooting network or connection issues

- Confirm the readiness for equipment connection based on network assessment outcome

- Provide feedback to the Site Digital Lead on the need for MoxaBoxes

- Ensure Lab Services expert L2 has all access privileges (iLab, Jira, GeodIS, LabPCs, network shares, etc.)

- Ensure that Digital local processes are correctly followed

- Coordinate and ensure delivery and configuration of new laptops by OSS

- Support Development of integration procedures for new equipment types

- Define network connectivity approach

- Define Equipment Configuration approach

- Build PoC integration

- Provide solution description to Factory for documentation

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

They are looking for a Level 3 support tech who has exposer to working in a Lab environment. They will be a big part in the ILab project that they are rolling out.

Must have experience in the following when it comes to the Lab environment

- Troubleshooting of lab instruments\lab computer systems interfaces. Assist in data storage solutions and the tracking of Lab assets

- Work with instrument vendors as needed in troubleshooting network or connection issues

- Experience working with scientist in a GxP environment
