Biologist II

Location: Worcester, MA

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm (with a lunch break). Occasionally, early morning, late evening, weekends, holidays. 40hr/week, overtime pay is offer, occasional remote offered

Duration: 12 month contract

Key Responsibilities:

* Assists in manufacturing support

* Should be able to cover morning, evening or weekend shift depending on manufacturing schedule.

* Performs basic data acquisition and analysis in a timely manner. Assists in process monitoring on a daily basis and data interpretation.

* Documents work appropriately in lab notebooks and technical memos; contributes to writing technical reports

Qualifications:

* MS degrees in a scientific or engineering discipline.

* Good communication and scientific skills, the desire and drive to grow and develop scientifically.

* Understands basic mammalian cell culture and/or purification concepts applicable to assigned tasks.

* Is familiar with routine statistical methods and softwares such as JMP or Minitab, etc. and has the ability to apply these methods to scientific data.
