Job Title: RF Test Engineer (Active Secret Clearance)
Job Description
Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Troubleshoot RF issues during test of advanced RF modules
• Support technicians with troubleshooting and training
• Analyze test data and identify early trends
• Support program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions
• Collaborate with design/manufacturing engineering for hardware and test improvements
• Sensitivity to cost, schedule, and quality as well as company policies and procedures is imperative
Hard Skills
- Experience with RF Test equipment (o-scope, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer)
- Familiarity with basic concepts of RF circuit design and troubleshooting
- Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level security clearance
- Experience with automation hardware testing
- Basic software skills: C-Family Languages, Python, or Matlab
- Ni/Teststand software Experience (preferred but not mandatory)
Soft Skills
- Sensitivity to cost, schedule, and quality
- Strong analytical skills for data analysis and identifying trends
- Effective communication skills for supporting technicians and collaborating with engineering teams
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s). 2nd and 3rd shift available.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Baltimore, Maryland.
Work Environment
90% of this job will take place inside their RF Testing Lab doing hands-on Hardware Testing. The other 10% will be more Data Analysis, Project Management, and Documentation.
