2023 Central Maryland Summer Intern
The Opportunity:
Are you fascinated by High Performance Computing ( HPC ) systems? As a Junior Data Scientist and Researcher, you will work with our highly collaborative team of researchers to investigate the performance of low-level HPC communication transport libraries, including libfabric, compared to high-level communication libraries, such as MPI and SHMEM. You will design a set of microbenchmarks for mission relevance, using both low- and high-level communication libraries. You will design experiments to evaluate the performance overhead of the high-level communication libraries and document your results.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.

You Have:
- Experience with c ond ucting research
- Knowledge of Object-oriented programming languages, including Python and C++
- Ability to produce te chn ical documentation and create design artifacts
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, CS, Engineering, or a related IT field by Summer 2024 / 2025
