Job Title: Human Resources Manager


Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to oversee HR & Payroll operations, recruiting, benefits management, bookkeeping, accounting, and reporting. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning of human resources and financial processes.


Responsibilities

  • Adjust H.S.A. and 401k contributions upon request.
  • Enter new employee information and terminate employees in the system.
  • Manage payroll operations in Paychex Flex.
  • Update and verify accuracy of spreadsheets.
  • Monitor and record PTO, and transfer money to T. Rowe 401k.
  • Record payroll transactions in QuickBooks and update insurance deductions.
  • Generate W2 reports and deposit H.S.A. contributions.
  • Handle PTO requests, late arrivals, and remote work requests.
  • Manage biweekly 401k transfers and schedule quarterly meetings.
  • Conduct compliance testing annually in December.
  • Collaborate on PSP contributions and transfer PSP to employee accounts.
  • Submit Form 5500 by July 31.
  • Collect W9s, review, sort, and pay bills.
  • Write checks and create customer invoices.
  • Prepare and deposit checks, and enter deposits into QuickBooks.
  • Generate 1099s for LLCs paid over $650.
  • Collaborate at year-end, enter journal entries, and pay vendors.
  • Post payments, review aging and open invoice reports, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Follow up with factories and maintain forecasting and sales spreadsheets.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources and Accounting Management.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably Paychex.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong human resource management skills.
  • Experience in benefits, recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Familiarity with accounting practices and bookkeeping.

Work Environment

The role requires full-time presence on-site, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. The position offers opportunities for growth and includes a bi-annual bonus structure.
