Security Helper/Installer

Description

The primary location of the projects will be in Washington DC beltway region. The Install helper will be working under the supervision of a Team Lead, along with 1 to 2 other technicians. The install technician will be able to meet up with the lead or another technician to commute to the job site. If not, they need to be flexible with commuting to various locations within Frederick County, Carroll County, Washington County, and Montgomery County various other locations between Baltimore and Washington, DC. They will mainly be working in health care facilities, educational, and commercial environments.

The main responsibilities of this technician will be:

• help with the Install of electronic security systems, access control panels, and CCTV cameras.

• Install security camera hardware and drill/fish wires when necessary

• Install electric lock systems for sliding, interlock and electric strike doors

o Drill door contact and match with corresponding magnet

• Terminate and run cables, including but not limited to RJ45 network cables

• Communicate with Team Lead consistently

• Conduct yourself professional at all site locations

Headquarters located in Frederick MD. Each team lead leaves from this location each day and can be used as a meeting spot for the team to carpool. If a technician prefers to drive him/herself they are welcome to do so but cannot expense the mileage to and from work.

***Main goal for entry level or experienced techs is to learn and grow in the security field working towards service engagements***
