Assistant Superintendent (Construction)

Description:

Actalent is currently working with a well established General Contractor that specializes in healthcare / biopharma / lab construction, to help locate a qualified Assistant Superintendent to help support several upcoming projects at the AstraZeneca Biologics Manufacturing Center located in in Frederick, MD. They have been awarded a multi-phase renovation project for large manufacturer of pharmaceutical products, consisting of 3 interior renovation projects, as well as building an addition to an existing structure. Qualified candidates must have 2+ years of experience as a foreman / carpenter / assistant superintendent.

This is a great opportunity for someone to get their foot in the door with a nationally recognized general contractor, work under the supervision of a strong superintendent, and ultimately move up to a general superintendent in the commercial construction industry.

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for overseeing subcontractors and supporting the general superintendent on site.

-Creating and enforcing project schedule and budget.

-Enforce project plans, drawings and designs.

-Creating daily reports and logging construction documentation.
