Job Description
Join a dynamic team dedicated to supplier management and communication, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in creating and managing purchase orders, onboarding new vendors, and resolving supply issues. This position requires a deep understanding of procurement processes within the manufacturing and electrical supply industries.
Responsibilities
- Manage and communicate with suppliers to ensure a smooth supply chain process.
- Create intercompany purchase orders as needed and track Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) purchase orders.
- Delegate incoming orders from daily ordering plans and maintain the Monday.com Purchasing workspace.
- Onboard new vendors and manage purchase orders effectively.
- Collaborate with the receiving team to identify unmarked deliveries and resolve supply issues.
- Review and approve purchase orders, resolving errors and discrepancies in partnership with accounts payable and receiving.
- Manage key suppliers and conduct accounting payment hold reviews.
- Attend and contribute to purchasing meetings.
- Minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience, with a preference for 8-10 years.
- Experience in the manufacturing or electrical supply industry.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with NetSuite preferred.
- Strong skills in purchasing, procurement, and vendor negotiation.
- Experience with SAP and supply chain management is advantageous.
Work on-site Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The role offers a collaborative environment where your innovation is valued, and you have the flexibility to influence productivity and company culture.

This is a Contract position based out of Hanover, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
