Job Title: MBSE Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled MBSE Systems Engineer to develop system modeling and simulation solutions across the organization. This role involves performing engineering analysis and providing results to inform strategic operational decisions. The Engineer will focus on designing, developing, and integrating M&S products for various programs, tackling diverse challenges to develop solutions for all aspects of the current business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop system modeling and simulation solutions throughout the organization.
  • Perform engineering analysis and provide results to inform strategic decisions for operations.
  • Focus on the design, development, and integration of M&S products for the program.
  • Develop solutions for all aspects of the current business.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience performing Model Based Systems Engineering in a government consulting environment.
  • Direct experience in Systems Engineering and SysML/UML modeling capabilities using modeling tools such as Cameo.
  • Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and navigate at an expert level with System Modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with developing Use Cases, Activity Models, and other SYSML models.
  • Experience applying modeling to support a system's requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities throughout acquisition life cycle phases.
  • Experience implementing a model-based culture, leveraging digital enterprise environment infrastructure capabilities.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale DoD systems engineering projects.
  • In-depth understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, MBSE, and best practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or another related engineering or computer science discipline.
  • Proficiency in systems monitoring, diagnostics, and performance analysis tools.
  • Experience utilizing model data support to enable the creation of a digital thread across other engineering disciplines, such as cyber and safety.
  • Knowledge/Experience supporting Navy SSP Strategic Weapons Systems.
  • INCOSE CSEP Certification.
  • OCSMP Certification.

This role requires working in a dynamic environment utilizing advanced technologies and modeling tools. The position demands flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex projects. The Engineer will engage in an innovative culture that emphasizes continuous learning and application of digital enterprise infrastructure capabilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Rockville, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
