Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and knowledgeable maintenance mechanic technician to join our team at our plant location in Rocky Ridge MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment. This hands-on role requires skills in mechanical, welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, basic carpentry, and math.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment.
- Perform maintenance on a variety of heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals accurately.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment such as conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Essential Skills
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication.
- Knowledge of welding techniques.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and performing basic carpentry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree from a Technical School or University preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience with PLC programming and computer-controlled production equipment.
- Ability to read and understand complex program and equipment manuals.
- Experience in AC/DC motor control.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rocky Ridge, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
