Job Title: Program Manager, Aerospace Tooling - P&L
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee and drive the success of aerospace and defense projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage project performance, cost, and schedule while fostering strong relationships with internal teams and customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage the performance, cost, and schedule for aerospace and defense projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions and ensure successful execution.
- Maintain and communicate project schedules, statuses, and present any issues to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and manage change control processes.
- Track project risks and opportunities, conducting variance analysis as needed.
- Lead project teams in a matrix environment, facilitating meetings and ensuring accountability.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Project/Program Management within an automated tooling/assembly environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent presentation capabilities.
- Ability to read blueprints and CAD models with basic GD&T knowledge.
- Understanding of P&L statements, cash management, and strong Excel skills.
- Negotiation skills in financial, contractual, and technical aspects.
- Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
- Adaptability to fast-paced, high-impact projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- PMP Certification.
- Experience with contract compliance matrices.
- Exposure to aerospace manufacturing environments.
- Experience with variance analysis and collaboration with finance teams.
- Traits such as proactive communication, high integrity, strong teamwork, empathy, and transparency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business with a focus on Project Management.
- Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance (must maintain).
- Must be a “U.S. Person” per ITAR regulations.
This is a Permanent position based out of Macomb, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
