Job Description
Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in the production line for a new ramp-up project. You will be responsible for assembling materials, operating machines, inspecting parts, and ensuring that components are ready for shipment. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment is essential to this role.
Responsibilities
- Assemble materials and operate machinery on the production line.
- Inspect parts for quality assurance before packaging for shipment.
- Assemble components as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- 3rd shift (10:30pm - 6:30am, starting Sunday).
Essential Skills
- 6 months of recent experience in manufacturing.
- Experience in a production worker, operator, assembler, or warehouse position within the last 6 months.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and handle car hoods made of plastic and foam.
- Experience with visual inspection and defect identification.
- Job stability with 8 months or longer at past three jobs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical skills.
- Experience in machine operation.

Work Environment
Work in a newly acquired building undergoing renovations to improve cleanliness. You'll be part of a 6-person operation, wearing work pants, work shirts, and closed-toe shoes, with safety glasses provided. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with additional shifts as needed.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of TROY, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.85 - $16.85/hr.
