When there is an incident that happens, if it is high level/critical to the business (could be in the plants, or any building) this team gets notified. They are
then responsible for triaging the issue by getting the right technical individuals involved. They will not be doing any technical work themselves, but need to understand the tech enough to know who to engage for these issues. These issues could be anything from applications, infrastructure, to security. This person will get 3 months of training when they start to learn some of the internal tools that Ford uses. They will be responsible for 1-2 on-call days per week and they will have a weekend on-call rotation that they will get once every 2 months. This role will be a Noon-8pm shift, so the candidate must be okay with that.
Top 3 Skills
- 3+ yrs. in a similar infrastructure related role (Incident Management, Change Coordinator, Project Coordinator)
- Experience interacting with higher level leaders; they will need to be able to effectively communicate issues and escalations to management
- Ability to push on colleagues and have very strong follow up
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are a must
