Seeking a qualified applicant for an End User Computing Specialist to be a member of their Service Desk team. This position delivers high quality customer service and support to the faculty and staff of the University of Michigan, and beyond. The successful candidate will exhibit proficiency with Windows, Macintosh, Android, and iOS amongst other platforms. A successful applicant should also have a high level of effective communications knowledge and experience in order to quickly discern and identify complex business relationships and offer appropriate assistance to correspond to a customer's ability with the appropriate priority. Communication skills must be both written and verbal and will be utilized with both internal and external end users. Applicants should be able to resolve situations where standard procedures have failed or proven ineffective in delivering quality outcomes.

Job Functions:

Resolve incidents, service requests, questions inbound to their Service Desk, determine needs of their customers and guide them to the services that meet their needs, route and catalogue incidents that cannot be successfully resolved at the Service Desk, identify and seek resolution of systematic customer issues, create and curate appropriate documentation, participate in continual service improvement process
