Looking for a highly driven individual to fill the position of Account Manager at their Auburn Hills, MI facility. The Account Manager acts as the face of the organization and creates lasting customer relationships. Supports and collaborates with New Business Development to maximize business growth potential and maintain a competitive market presence.
3-5% commission on top of Salary - generally will make anywhere from $150K-$200K per year
Job Duties:
- Manage current House Accounts that are already established - the candidate will be set up for success and will manage the current accounts, as well as seeking out new business
- Serve as the primary contact/liaison to establish develop, and maintain working relationships within several layers of existing customers to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
- Provide data to management to build budgets, and provide planning information and forecasts, based on current customer knowledge and relationship.
- Weekly meetings to collaborate with teams such as program launch, quality, and engineering to obtain issue resolutions and communicate results internally as well as to the customer
- Visiting plants and getting face-to-face with buyers and potential customers
- Entertaining customers (football games, hockey games, dinners, etc.)
- Conscious awareness of a good mix of business, and seek out opportunities that align with current workload - will have weekly meetings to understand current projects happening in the shop and what new projects might fit well within their workload
