The 2nd line produces and average of 250 boxes per hour, and there is plans to add a 3rd line at the end of July. These contractors are going to be responsible for loading empty 8oz cartons into the slots of the milk line. The cartons are then filled, sealed, and put into crates to be sent to the refrigerator by the forklifts. These contractors will not be responsible for operating the machine despite the job title. They may have to help wash the machine and help out with general cleaning during downtime. Blow Mold General Production: 8 hour shifts (11pm-7am), Sun-Thurs *** BUT they are working 7 days a week right now due to high demand for milk gallons. This contractor is going to be working in the blow mold department where they are making the plastic gallon milk jugs. They will be asked to help out in many different ways, including some of the “dirty work”: sweeping, mopping, cleaning up milk spills, etc. They may be stacking moving the empty milk jugs as well. If they catch on and do well with these tasks, Andy said he will likely hire them into an operator role after the contract period.
