Chassis Dyno Testing Technician

Description:

• Runs validation and development test on ICE engines and Powertrain components

• Update spreadsheets with the data

• Runs NVH dyno as needed

• Set up, test, diagnose and calibrated heat mapping, particulate, and emissions tests.

• Performed engine prototype component exchange to determine best power/emission test points.

• Accountable for engine set-up on test bed along with teardown and cleanup of cell.

• Experienced using Inca and Vector Canopy to manipulate engine parameters.

• Experienced in De-canning and Re-canning Particulate Filters.

• Experienced in Gas engine 4 mode testing.

• Knowledge of clean room and particulate filters for weight.

• Working knowledge of Horiba full tunnel emissions system.

• Experienced in AVL mini tunnel setup and testing.

• Knowledge of diesel engines.

• Accountable for engine set-up on test bed along with teardown and cleanup of cell.

Position Qualifications

• 1+ years of Dyno Experience

• Strong technical aptitude specifically in the area of CAN, AVL, Dyno Operator

• Knowledge of vehicle test laboratory infrastructure (electrical and mechanical) and its operation

• Strong diagnostic skills related to test system instrumentation and vehicle diagnostics
