IT Help Desk Technician

Our client has committed to change the face of healthcare and continues to work hard to expand its reach to the community and improve patient care. This growth has created a great opportunity within their technology group, specifically within their Helpdesk support team. Our client is looking for highly motivated individuals to become a part of their very important customer support center team which is the first person the end user communicates with in resolving IT issues.
Summary of Position(s):
Our client looks for talent that has a desire to be part of an organization that help others and can find passion behind being a part of healthcare. These positions will be responsible for taking inbound calls and 1st call resolution of all incoming technical support calls. They will help the end user work through any 1st and potentially 2nd level technical issues and troubleshoot to resolve in a timely manner. If all avenues are taken to resolve without success, technician will then escalate to the appropriate technical group within IT. Call volume for these roles average 40-50 calls per day (2nd and 3rd shift have lower volume). Our client is looking to improve the level of technical skill on this call center help desk with new talent they bring in.
Ideal Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience providing technical support over the phone.
- Any experience troubleshooting IT issues for end users would be highly desired.
- A+ certification is preferred as well.
- Basic experience troubleshooting in a Windows 7/10 environment.
- Experience supporting Exchange/Outlook email.
- Any enterprise healthcare application experience would be highly desired as well but not required.
- Experience with help desk ticketing systems is a plus.
- SharePoint knowledge and basic ITIL standards understanding.
