Home office will be Ferndale. Depending on where the candidate lives, it could change. Coverage needed for Dearborn, Lincoln Park, and Detroit DMC locations!

Must have a clean driving record with specific auto insurance coverage. Will have to provide documentation showing vehicle info.


M-F; 8:30am – 5:00pm


Opportunity to advance into supervisor position after going permanent with company**

Start Date ASAP

This person will be required to answer calls quickly and assist customers with their needs. These customers will be calling about insurance questions, what products they are eligible for, what costs will look like, etc... Someone with Medical / Insurance customer service experience would be a perfect fit.

Will coordinate the schedule for the clinical staff. Will verify insurance information and obtain the necessary authorizations and referral forms. Will process the orders in the computer system along with maintaining a current status on orders to be processed. File customer orders. Will discharge patients promptly and courteously and file medical records. Will prep all doc's for imaging as well.

Keep in mind that patients are of all ages and this location specializes in Prosthetic, Orthopedics and Mastectomies. Patients are very sick "so to speak" and at times can be hard to handle.

Most have Medicaid with 6-7 different HMO plans. This person will need to differentiate between them all along with other benefit packages.

Screening as someone enters: There is a designated employee in each facility doing the screening and taking temps for all direct or contract employees. They have to fill out a form daily for each employee. The CSR’s are screening the patients as they come in or call in to make an appointment. They also note in the scheduler that they screened the form and they are all clear to be seen.

Most of the time there is turns taken by the CSR's to help screen patients coming in. It's a team effort!!

Mask the entire time. Get patients into the rooms ASAP instead of lobby. All staff wears mask throughout the day. Team takes turns to help clean the office.

Temp check daily. And will be asked all screening questions before walking in the door each day! They are VERY serious about keeping a safe working environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:


- At least one year of retail customer service experience

- 1 years of experience in the medical or healthcare field

- Competent using Microsoft Office Suites

- Upbeat Personality


Clean Driving Record

Has to have auto insurance on a vehicle that she is specifically covered on and has the meet the below requirements:

Minimum coverage requirements are as follows

• $100,000 Bodily Injury (per person)

• $300,000 Bodily Injury (per accident)

• $100,000 Property Damage
