**Positions open for 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts**
You will be plugged into the schedule for 3 days a week and then given a separate schedule to pick up additional shifts.
They are flexible on the shift that a person will train on but hope that the candidates are flexible for training. Training will last roughly 3 days and then you will be put on your scheduled shift.
Schedule will also consists of weekends but will not be schedule both weekend days, must be able to work at least every other weekend.
Duties are to assist with new patient registration which will include having new patients sign paperwork then enter all information into the computer. The role will start at the front desk as a Greeter. You will be the first person that people see as entering the hospital.
You will take and scan insurance cards and identification into the system and build them a quick profile. Patient will be given a hospital bracelet for tracking while they are there. You will inform the team that once patient is ready to start the medical process. Once fully trained at the front desk you'll have the ability to move into other roles which include going from room to room with a traveling computer to perform registration.
Good data entry skills are needed. This job requires excellent customer service skills as the main skill is interaction with people. Familiarity and exposure to health insurance is very strongly preferred but not a must. Candidate must have excellent mobility and be able to be on their feet their entire shift. Must be shift flexible. New hires will work 40 hours for the first couple of weeks while in training. After training you may not receive 40 hours/week. You will be scheduled 3 days/week, it will be your responsibility to pick up the extra hours. This is NOT strictly a Monday -Friday position. Weekends are necessary.
