Controls Engineer

This Lead Controls Engineer will be working in robotics and automation at a local Custom Machine Builder. This person will be gathering information to begin designing, determine controls required to construct the assigned machines, size components, contact vendors, programming necessary components, and travel for installs.

Responsibilities:

• Programming in Allen Bradley
• Design in AutoCAD Electrical - just need to have a foundation in AutoCAD
• Implementing robotic systems - Fanuc, Motoman
• Progress with designs of multiple machines

45-50 hour work weeks

• 1.5x OT over 40 hours

MUST HAVES:

• 5 years PLC programming/troubleshooting (AB or Siemens)
• 1 year AutoCAD experience (can be light and will train but they need basics)
• HMI experience
• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or related field
