Accounts Receivable Specialist

Currently this company has a lot of internal movement and recent new team members move into the AR department. This has caused some backlog of work in all areas of AR; collections, posting cash, updating account information. There is an immediate need for someone to come in and help out in any of the areas that can find temporary support in. They could use support on collections for some of their main automotive accounts as well as the cash posting for payments being received. This person would log into their customer portals, which are mostly automotive OEMs, to track down the invoices that have been sent to their customers and track payments that have or have not been made. They may also go in and input new invoices to make sure the customers are receiving them and future payments can be made and received from their customers. This information is then updated in their internal ERP system Sage ,and also excel. These are the areas that will provide the department the most immediate lift. This would be roughly 80-90 percent of their day. The logging into customer portals to track down payments, and reaching out to those customers for updates if needed or clarification of information. Client Description / Additional Duties: Monitor bank accounts for payments. Daily cash application. Manage customer accounts including contacting customer regarding delinquencies and scheduled payments. Send invoices and monitor customer invoicing through the Accounting System. Correspond with various customers and customer AP systems regarding monthly release numbers, payments, invoice issues, electronic packing slip submittal, and submission of electronic invoicing. Maintain daily cash logs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
They have to have experience working within an ERP System. They also have to be able to navigate excel; pivot tables v look ups. Experience in the Automotive or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
