We are looking for a proactive engineer to fill the role as SW/System Vehicle Test Engineer for our Driver Assist department. As a Test Engineer, you will develop, maintain, execute, track, and report on validation testing for Radar/Video/Ultrasonic based Driver Assistance software functions. The reason for this function is to act as both the primary interface before development, test lab, local and global teams, and process improvements. Your job is ensure that as the complexity of Driver Assistance functions increases and functions become more safety relevant, that the current and future software is tested and validated in vehicle before releasing to the customer. As a SW/System Vehicle Test Engineer, this role is responsible for the below: • Support creation of test specifications • Support planning of vehicle tests and performance tests • Prepare test environment (vehicle/bumper setup, CANape configuration, DGPS, etc. ) • Perform validation of functions/features/performance with documentation of test results • Execute measurements (e.g. CAN trace and/or CANape) together with first pre-analysis • Ensure traceability between requirements and tests for the test domain • Participate in Global Test meetings • Create test reports and communicate results to the team. • Generate defect reports for software defects and assign to responsible software function owner. • Proactively push to improve and streamline all areas of the testing process. • Work with Project Managers and Test Coordinator to establish testing milestones and deadline. • Communicate testing status and impediments with Project Managers.

Qualifications Minimum: • BSEE or Equivalent • Knowledge of vehicle networks (CAN/LIN) • Ability to understand embedded software (C and assembly) • Ability to understand schematics and mechanical drawings • Working knowledge of CANape and CANoe • Hands-on engineer • Quality driven mindset
