Description:

This is an entry level support function of the hair care Formulation R&D team. They support new product lines and changes to existing product lines. All Hair Care: Aveda, Bumble and Bumble, Joe Malone brands among others. They will support 8 formulation scientists overall.

- Basic Lab Functions:

○ Lab Maintenance - Materials, cleaning, ordering, dishware

○ Operation of pH meter, viscometer, water drop

○ Lab Notebook accuracy and legibility

○ GXP - Training for Aveda S.O.Ps, hands on training as well

- Stability testing support (partnering with a formulation scientist typically to execute these studies):

1) Pulling the Stability Sheet from conditions

2) Reading Specifications for analysis on: color, odor, pH

3) ensure pass/fail of the product based on specifications

4) organize samples: Pulling material, sampling, labelling, prepping for analysis. Somewhere between 6-40 depending on lab preliminary or Final.
