CH Robinson is currently looking for an Operations Coordinator to work in their CPDS Department. Candidates will be responsible for communicating with internal and external customers, verifying and coordinating pickups and deliveries, update customer information in the system and problem solve on a continuous basis. They will also be responsible for taking misc afterhours calls as well. Entering appointment dates, times and confirmation information with complete accuracy Identifying exceptions and communicating with the appropriate branch representative for resolution Multi tasking between online scheduling systems, phone calls and email The best candidates are people who think outside the box and are able to make quick decisions. They really like to see candidates with serving experience and/or someone with a college degree. With a focus on quality and efficiency, execute one or more of the following tasks and in accordance with office and company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs): providing shipment information, creating orders, activating shipments, building loads, assigning loads, scheduling appointments, tracking and tracing shipments, entering events and invoicing. Monitor task boards and assigned email accounts to respond to customer and carrier requests. Document events utilizing knowledge gained through SOPs and experience and, when required, follow defined escalation procedures and training. Follow through on customer or carrier requests to ensure satisfaction. Escalate questions or requests when necessary. Validate and ensure the accuracy of load data in systems according to CHR and customer standards. Complete other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications candidates must have include: 2+ years of customer service experience (serving experience is a huge plus) 30+ WPM and 5000+ KPH data entry scores (check with RELS typing tests) Would prefer someone with a 2 or 4 year college degree Either 4 year college degree or someone with 2+ years of experience in CSR role Ability to think on their feet (ASK IN REFERENCE) Would highly prefer a bachelors degree but open to seeing candidates with retail experience who can handle stressful situations. Retail managers are also very popular in this group too.
