Entry Level Field Service Technician

Description:

• NSI Field Service Technicians conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of industrial x-ray inspection equipment.
• Travel to customer site for:
  • Diagnosis and repair industrial test equipment; including but not limited to high voltage generators, electricalpanels, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Personal Computer (PC), control software and automationcomponents.
  • Preventative maintenance, installations as well as emergency service
  • Customer training on the proper operation of equipment following an installation.
• 75% travel during the week.
• You will also assist customers over the phone with technical problems and troubleshooting and occasionally be on call for phone support.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associates degree in a related field - i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Automation & Robotics
• 2+ years' experience working with and/or troubleshooting automated equipment
• 2+ years' experience working with mechanical assembly, hand tools, preventative maintenance
• 2+ years' experience with electrical wiring, schematics
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting is nice to have
• Electronics experience including experience with multi-meters, calipers, oscilloscopes is nice to have
• Must have the willingness and ability to travel upwards of 75% of the time via airplane
