Manage projects from receipt of purchase through customer approval. Project set up in ERP system Breakdown project into steps and create project timeline in MS Project. Includes updates and weekly communication with internal team and customer. Manage and assist personnel needed to complete the necessary project tasks: - Outside Tooling- tooling design and vendor selection - CNC/Check/Assembly fixture design and vendor selection - Sampling coordination with Manufacturing Engineer, Programming Engineer, Scheduling, and Operations. - 1st part inspections and PPAP development, submission, and approvals. - Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process including documentation and cross-functional team meetings. - Cost control on project activities - Effective transition of project to Operations On-sites visits to do technical reviews, project kick-offs, and cost reduction activities. Technical assistance during project development and RFQs. Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO). Cost improvement/reduction efforts on new and existing products. Technical assistance and recommendations on manufacturing equipment, materials, processes, and work cell layouts. Development of tooling/fixture vendors to ensure the highest quality and most cost-effective solutions for Wilbert manufacturing and customer requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing. Knowledge of plastics is a plus. Five years engineering and manufacturing experience Program, product, and project management experience. Office systems software experience in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point), CAD (Solid Works preferred but not required), and ERP software.
