The Network Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the enterprise network infrastructure, which includes multiple regional sites. The Network Administrator assists the team with design, implementation, and maintains IT networking technologies (switching, routing, firewalls, etc...) for high availability; with appropriate alerts setup and monitoring management. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assist with design and implementing the network environment for high availability to reduce risk; leveraging load balancing technologies with redundancy to prevent system down time 2. Install, configure, monitor and support all LAN and WAN connectivity. Responsible for onsite physical support of network technologies in Shakopee plant and Chaska data center. 3. Ensure appropriate system patches and firmware are applied timely to network devices 4. Maintain an understanding of evolving technologies and making recommendations for network improvement 5. Plan and project manage new processes or process changes to support networking technologies; automate routine and repetitive tasks 6. Manage datacenter IT equipment including UPS, routers, firewalls, switches, environmental systems etc.; design and configure advanced routing protocols, SSL IPsec and VPN technologies 7. Oversee daily operations of switches, routers, firewalls, web content filters, wireless controllers and load balancers 8. Develop and maintain systems configuration documentation, and standard operating procedures; including Disaster Recovery and testing procedures 9. Ability to troubleshoot network issues with packet captures and other analysis tools 10. Work independently as well as a member of a team, and collaboratively across IT

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field 2. 3+ years’ experience in IT network device administration 3. Expertise with enterprise networking and monitoring tools 4. Experience with Cisco routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and VPN 5. Experience with Cisco switching, trunking, spanning tree 6. Experience with firewall administration 7. Strong communications skills 8. Comfortable remaining composed and calm under stressful conditions. 9. Periodic travel to regional sites may be required (less than 10% travel) DESIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE 1. Experience with Palo Alto, Citrix NetScaler, F5 2. Expertise with SD-WAN and network cloud technologies 3. Experience with Cisco or other IP based voice technologies 4. Expertise with networking converged infrastructures 5. Expertise with software defined networking / datacenter technologies 6. Cisco certification
