Patient Service Representative II

These individuals will be handling the calls and interactions with insurance company representatives and patients. Employee will be making outbound calls to Medicare, major medical health insurance representatives, and pharmacy benefit managers. They will verify insurance coverage, assist with prior authorization, benefit verification, order prescription refills, and more. They will contact the insurance payers, verify patients' insurance benefits, run test claims for the medications, confirm that claims are payable, and complete benefit letters to go out to patients. They will also assist with issues related to payments, reimbursements, payment denials, and appeals.
Provide dedicated, personalized support via phone and online portal. Complete investigations and answer questions regarding insurance benefits. Questions could include insurance coverage, out-of-pocket costs, enrollment, reimbursement, state and federal assistance programs, and more. Individual will assist with prior authorization and insurance verification. Enter orders, change orders, track shipments, and enter customer notes to transactions. Process patient assistance applications. Maintain logs and records.
