Inventory Coordinator

Description:

The Asset & Inventory Control Coordinator will perform inventory duties for company assets by coordinating with the Equipment Coordinator and Shipping & Receiving Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for the proper accounting of corporate assets, updating inventory locations, and maintaining accurate records.

Maintain programs associated with the requisition, distribution, storage, and control of company assets

The main source of contact for communications with internal and external customers

Prioritize work with Equipment Coordinator and Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to support the business

Responsible for the updating of assets in the inventory system and ensuring that the status, location, and assigned colleague locations are current

Responsible for assisting with inventory control, including equipment fixed assets, cycle counts, and physical inventories to maintain a 99.9% accuracy on asset inventories

Assist in company cost-saving initiatives and programs that will reduce asset and inventory auditing efforts

Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory

Monitor delivery schedule and customer orders

File claims, as necessary, when defective products are discovered
