Contractors will perform assigned laboratory testing and related quality control activities in order to ensure compliance with applicable SOP's and cGMPs. Provide timely testing and notification of any aberrant occurrence to Management/Supervision that presents potential negative impact to manufactured or marketed product- this requires critical thinking and troubleshooting if you noticing abnormal patterns and results. Will support commercial product testing as well as complete projects for new product development. Will test "hot products" which are radioactive in nature for use in nuclear medicine. Utilize basic QC wet chemistry techniques in addition to some radiation specific instrumentation. Will utilize HPLC or other analytical instrumentation for project purposes. May use any number of the following: Analytical Balance, pH meter, automatic pipettes, FTIR, UV-Vis, Voltammeter, Autotitrator, HPLC, GC, IC, ICP, Flame AA, TOC, Conductivity meter.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
AS Degree in Sciences but BS Degree in Chemistry or equivalent strongly preferred 6 months of QC experience or industry lab experience ideally with exposure to GMP and HPLC. Could consider entry-level, but would have to have demonstrated leadership experience and an internship or research experience to gain hands-on lab skills (outside of coursework)
