Inforce Fixed Annuity Operations - Insurance Policy Administration
Our customer that specializes in Fixed and Variable Annuities is looking for an addition to the team. This would be a long term opportunity as a consultant. Starting at 6 months and getting extended after reviews. The reason for the opening is because they just hired on our consultant. There is a chance to apply and get hired on permanently, after interview process.
Typical day for the consultant that gets the position. Working on complex tasks that are required to be completed onshore, other standard tasks are offshore. Viewed as the subject matter expert (SME) on questions around allocation changes for the offshore team, providing changes to Annuity Policies inforce, handling divorces', reviewing power of attorney, legal documents, bank statements, contract language.
Candidate MUST have strong written communication. General customer correspondence comes to this team for onshore and offshore, this team will respond to those correspondence. The customer is usually requesting something that needs critical thinking, and investigation in order to provide a thoughtful and professional response.
No phone calls, every now and then they may make a call. Usually go weeks or months without making a call. Avoid candidates with management experience, want individual contributors.
