Job Description

Responsibilities may include designing, developing, testing, debugging, and implementing operating systems components, software tools, and utilities. You will determine systems software design requirements, ensure successful implementation and monitoring of system improvements to increase efficiency, and generate systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures. As a specialist, you may act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of other lower-level professionals. You will be responsible for delivering and overseeing projects from design to implementation, using your specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Minneapolis, US-MN and some days remote.

Work Environment

You will work autonomously, managing large projects or processes with minimal oversight. You will contribute to defining the direction for new products, processes, standards, or operational plans with a significant impact on work group results. You will communicate with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels, possibly negotiating to reach agreements and influencing decision-making. You will also provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees, managing major and moderately complex projects.
