Description

This team supports analytical services for a variety of products within the organization. This candidate is working within the medical device industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform analytical testing using FTIR, Carbon/Sulfur analysis, ICP, DSC, HPLC, and GC.
• Support laboratory operations including glassware cleaning and sample preparation.
• Follow established procedures and document all activities in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate sample workflows and meet testing schedules.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional team activities.
• Assist in identifying and troubleshooting test method failures.
• Support both development and commercial Quality Control (QC) release activities.
• Learn and understand the manufacturing processes supported by the lab.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field
• 6+ months of experience in a lab (previous contract testing lab environment preferred)
• Having GMP/industry experience is preferred.
