Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
The Order Fulfillment position is responsible for picking, inspecting, and packaging instrument orders, as well as preparing and marking surgical instruments as required. While the role involves handling surgical instruments, which are not typically heavy, the workload can become heavier when multiple items are packed into larger boxes.
Responsibilities
- Pick, inspect, and package surgical instrument orders.
- Prepare and mark surgical instruments as required.
- Utilize shipping software, SAP, and Kanban systems for inventory management.
- Cycle counting and inventory management.
- Operate a forklift and handle materials efficiently.
- Coordinate with warehouse operations and occasionally travel to a nearby warehouse.
Essential Skills
- Experience with packaging and order picking.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and SAP.
- Familiarity with Kanban systems.
- Ability to perform cycle counting and manage inventory.
- Effective team collaboration skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Ability to produce detailed, high-quality work.
- Capability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical ability to stand, stoop, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment
The role is based in a full cleanroom environment, requiring a full gown process, with tasks focused on packaging specific medical products for shipping. The work schedule is from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, onsite in St. Paul, MN. The position involves working with computers and may require traveling to a nearby warehouse.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of SAINT PAUL, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
