Job Title: Project Architect
Job Description
We are seeking a Project Architect who will lead the development of design work in a collaborative environment, working with multiple team members and disciplines. You will oversee the needs of various projects at different stages of development, engage with Business Development to pursue project leads, and work alongside the Head of Design and Department Directors to manage project needs, milestones, and goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of design work in a collaborative environment with multiple team members and multiple disciplines.
- Oversee needs of multiple projects in various stages of development.
- Engage with Business Development in pursuing project leads.
- Work with Head of Design and Department Directors to manage project needs, milestones, and goals.
- Communicate effectively with executive staff, project team members, and clients.
- Engage clients to determine goals and understanding for project design delivery.
- Coordinate with internal Engineering Director to meet project needs.
- Coordinate with internal Estimating and Construction team members in preparing scope, design, and project approach.
- Manage design team members in executing the project plan and develop solutions to changes as they occur.
- Manage construction administration process to assure conformance with design intent and construction documents.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCad software.
- Experience in architecture, construction documents, design, and construction administration.
- Strong project management and schematic design skills.
- 3-8+ years of architectural design experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or equivalent comparable work experience.
- Experience in detail and design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
- Understanding of building systems, equipment, technology requirements, and detailing related to construction.
- Sports experience required.
Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, utilizing technologies such as Revit and AutoCad. You will be working closely with both internal and external teams, including estimating, construction, and engineering departments. The role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously and engaging with clients to ensure project delivery aligns with their goals.
