Job Title: Solidworks Drafter


Job Description

The Solidworks Drafter is responsible for the detailing and drafting of belt, screw, drag conveyors, and bucket elevators. This role requires maintaining direct contact with the design engineer and generating general arrangement and fabrication detail drawings for all equipment manufactured. The supervisor will interact with the plant supervisor to ensure clarity during fabrication, work with the design engineer to produce drawings from sketches or existing images, create assembly and part details for fabrication, and assign part numbers to all assemblies. Additionally, the supervisor provides final raw materials and buy-out lists to the purchasing department and maintains complete, accessible files and records. The role also involves working with Operations, Sales/Marketing, and Administration to provide design and cost control, and performing other duties as assigned while maintaining confidentiality of all information processed.
