Quality Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our food manufacturing team. This role is evenly split between laboratory-based Quality Control (QC) testing and on-floor Quality Assurance (QA) food safety activities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet internal and regulatory standards for safety, quality, and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical and microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment in accordance with SOPs.
• Record and analyze test data, identifying trends or deviations from specifications.
• Support shelf-life studies and product stability testing.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation for audits and traceability.
• Conduct GMP, sanitation, and food safety inspections on the production floor.
• Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure compliance with HACCP plans.
• Investigate and document non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis.
• Provide real-time feedback to production teams to ensure quality standards are upheld.
• Participate in internal audits and support external regulatory inspections.
