Certified Medical Assistant

Job Description-

Position functions as a Medical Assistant in the department, preparing and maintaining exam rooms, preparing charts, obtaining reports and records; assisting with patient flow and ensuring the overall smooth running of the clinical office. Interacts directly with patients in a clinic setting and completes clinical tasks which may include obtaining vital signs, phlebotomy, and verification of medications. Prepares for office hours by doing tasks such as obtaining charts, scheduling tests, and preparing exam rooms. Assists with lab tests.
